The Web is ours … to speak with the world. Our brand new, colourful communication medium is up and running as a platform for us to reach out to members, friends, associates and people everywhere. The brand identity design has been developed by Michael Heasman, working collaboratively with Martin White and the website features, tabs and text have been written by the UKSBM Communications subgroup led by Dr Elaine Cameron (University of Stirling).
The new logo, which you can see above, aims to embody both the spectrum of activities of the society and the wide spectrum of its membership – from biology to environments, from qualitative to quantitative methods, from psychology to social and public health sciences, from research to clinical practice and health policy. The interlinking pattern of the logo represents the multiple aspects of the society’s work as interlinked and interdisciplinary activities. The spiral nature of the device alludes to the constant progression of the society and its work.
Our new site has all of the details about the society and information about our networks, resources and events. Please tell us what else you might to like to see on these pages – help us maintain and develop a vibrant society for all with an interest in human behaviour and health.
