The UKSBM has a number of awards to recognise contributions to the field of Behavioural Medicine and the society. These were introduced for our 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting. Members and delegates will be able to nominate individuals for these awards annually during registration for the upcoming ASM.
Distinguished Scientist Award
This award recognises a distinguished career as a leader in the field of behavioural medicine. Recipients have made several outstanding theoretical or empirical contributions to the science of behavioural medicine.
Early Career Scientist Award
This award recognises an important contribution to the science of behavioural medicine at an early career stage.
Outstanding Investigator Award
This award recognises an outstanding contribution by an investigator to the science of behavioural medicine
Distinguished Service Award
This award recognises a distinguished career in the field of behavioural medicine. Recipients have made contributions at national level to the development of behavioural medicine.
